The building has an exposed wooden ceiling, which rests on one single concrete beam & column in its centre.
The new house is placed precisely, where the old gate keeper’s house used to be. The driveway-facing-facades are a facsimiles of the old one, too.
The Barrack & Gatekeeper’s House as well as the other houses on site use the same set of materials, yet, in a different ways, to avoid the character of a settlement.
